Clean Conduit has over 15 years’ experience in cleantech entrepreneurship, engineering, commercialization, technology deployment, adoption, procurement, funding, and project management.  We leverage our expertise to help businesses grow. We listen to the goals of our clients, what they aspire to achieve, and the challenges they face then assist in developing viable pathways to success and growth.

We are located in Toronto and primarily serve Canadian and US SMEs with domestic and international operations spanning the globe.

CCI provides a fresh perspective and hands-on to challenges associated with capital projects and commercialization.  Internal resources are often stretched too far to be able to advance capital projects at the pace anticipated by management.  We fill the resource gap and provide guidance fundamental to successful project delivery.

It is often the case we work with small to medium sized business that lack the capital to bring their company to the next level. We seek government assistance programs such as grants, subsidies, loans, investment capital, etc. that offsets all or a portion of the costs of fees and accelerates business initiatives. Whether it is building a new facility or adding additional process equipment to a manufacturing line, we can help find ways to provide growth capital.

Clean technology includes a broad range of technology related to recycling, renewable energy, information technology, green transportation, electric motors, green chemistry, lighting, grey water, and more. We specialize in many aspects of cleantech and have experience working on diverse projects.

Water:
Solutions for water recovery, purification and wastewater management.

Air:

Agtech:
Innovative technologies that enable sustainable food manufacturing and processing.

Net-Zero Technologies:
Technologies that balance the amount of emissions produced with the amount removed from the atmosphere.

Advanced Materials:
Production of new materials engineered to improve existing products, reduce GHG emissions, and offset virgin material use.

Energy:

CCI is a boutique firm that focuses on clean technology. We have developed significant expertise and network potential that has proven successful for many of our clients. For companies that have limited resources, going to a larger consulting firm is not always possible. In some cases, we’re able to use government offsets as a net reduction in fees to our clients.

Yes, that is always possible given the complex nature of most complex projects that involve a series of sub-projects, some of which were not anticipated at the outset.  Many of our projects either extend or include additional phases.  We offer fair pricing and updated proposals to account for the additional effort required.

We focus on three main areas, namely engineering, business, and sales.

Projects timelines can vary widely depending on the scope and cost of the project. We are able to provide an accurate estimation after a free consultation.  In most cases, our clients engage us for long durations that include several projects.

Projects costs can vary widely depending on the scope and length of the project. We are able to provide an accurate estimation after a free consultation.

We approach projects with an evidence-based mindset. We believe that in order to create value, there needs to be a concrete understanding of the problem before we start looking at how to fix things, make recommendations, or get involved. We use a variety of methodologies and models that help us map clear pathways to viable solutions given existing circumstances and client input. Our clients depend on us to provide fresh ideas and identify issues that could cause undesired outcomes.

The number of consultants will be determined based on project needs and budget. Some clients want to move very rapidly.  As a smaller firm, we are nimble and can meet tight timelines.  Timing, resources, and budget will be discussed at the outset.  We have consultants that may come in for a portion of the project and others will be there for the entire duration.

The Clean Conduit team takes pride in ensuring that each project delivers value. We’re always in constant communication with our clients to establish expectations and meet regularly to discuss progress and expected outcomes.  Our goal is to ensure client satisfaction.

For many of our clients, we have gathered information in support of their application for government offsets.  These cover some of our fees and/or project costs. Find out more about how we can leverage funding opportunities to offset the cost of hiring us.
